Guardian Privacy Policy

This policy covers Guardian by AlwaysHere. Guardian data is stored by AlwaysHere LLC with the rest of your AlwaysHere account data. We do not sell it.

What we store

• The caregiver's account: email and sign-in details.
• Setup answers: what the person likes to be called, how they like to be spoken to, what they love, topics to avoid, calming words, and the name and mobile number to text.
• The person's own settings, which they choose in chat.
• What Guardian remembers: short facts saved during chats, which the person can view and remove in chat and the caregiver can view and remove on the dashboard.
• A short journal Guardian writes after meaningful chats, and a record of safety alerts.
• A log that each Guardian tool was used and whether it worked. It contains no chat content.

What we do not store

We do not store full chat transcripts. Guardian only sees what is said in chats where it is installed. It cannot see other apps, messages, or chats. The AI company that runs the chat app has its own privacy policy.

Who can see it

• The caregiver sees the journal, the memory list, and alerts on their dashboard.
• The person can ask Guardian what it remembers and what it shares, and Guardian answers plainly.
• If the person also uses AlwaysHere Daily Support, facts Guardian remembers may be used on their AlwaysHere line too, and Guardian says so.
• Service providers who help us run Guardian (hosting, texting, email, payments) process data only to provide the service.

Texts and email

Safety texts are one plain sentence and never include chat content. We send transactional email only, such as a welcome and a trial reminder.

Age

Guardian is for people 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information about anyone younger.

Your choices

You can remove any remembered fact at any time, and cancel Guardian from your dashboard. To delete your Guardian data, email us and we will delete it within 30 days, except records we must keep by law.

AlwaysHere is not a HIPAA-covered entity.
