GuardianMCP Terms of Service

These terms cover GuardianMCP by AlwaysHere, provided by AlwaysHere LLC. By creating a GuardianMCP account you agree to them.

What GuardianMCP is

GuardianMCP is assistive technology powered by AI. It connects to an AI chat app the person already uses and shapes how that AI talks with them, remembers what matters to them, and can text a person they trust when a danger sign appears. It works only in chats where it is installed. It cannot see texts, DMs, other apps, or other chats.

GuardianMCP runs inside an AI, and that AI says it is an AI in the first message of every chat. It never claims to be a person or family. It does not give medical, legal, or financial directions, and it is not an emergency service. In an emergency, call 911. For a mental health crisis, call or text 988.

Who can use it

• The account holder is the caregiver: an adult who sets GuardianMCP up for someone they support.
• GuardianMCP is for people 18 and older. The caregiver confirms at setup that the person is 18 or older.
• At setup the caregiver confirms one of two things: that they are the person's legal guardian, or that the person knows about GuardianMCP and has agreed to it. We record which one and when. We recommend telling the person either way.
• The person can turn GuardianMCP off or remove it from their AI at any time.

Price and refunds

GuardianMCP costs $47 a month or $347 a year, the founding price, locked in as long as you stay subscribed. There is no free trial. Your card is charged when you purchase, then each month or year until you cancel, billed through Stripe. Cancel anytime from your dashboard with one button. In the first 30 days the button also refunds you in full, instantly. After the first 30 days, cancelling stops future charges and you keep access until the end of the period you paid for. You can change your card or switch plans from your dashboard too. GuardianMCP is included at no extra cost with AlwaysHere Complete. If a payment fails or a plan ends, memory and journal features pause, and safety texts keep working.

Texts

At setup you give a mobile number for a person to text when something looks wrong. Our servers, not the AI, decide whether to send a text. Texts come from the AlwaysHere line, are limited in number, are one plain sentence, and never include chat transcripts. Reply STOP to stop texts to that number. Message and data rates may apply. We cannot promise a text will arrive, and no AI catches everything.

Your responsibilities

• Give accurate setup information, including the consent choice, and keep the text contact current.
• Do not use GuardianMCP to watch someone without their knowledge, unless you are their legal guardian.
• Follow the terms of the AI app GuardianMCP is installed in.

Limits

GuardianMCP is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, AlwaysHere is not liable for indirect damages, and our total liability is limited to what you paid for GuardianMCP in the prior three months. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois.

Changes

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will email the account holder before the change takes effect.
