Simple monthly plans

    AlwaysHere plans and pricing

Calm Home costs less than three hours of a companion caregiver a month. A companion caregiver runs about $35 an hour. If the companion takes even three check-ins a day off your plate, that is about 8 hours a month back, for $97.

    Funding

Your waiver or self-directed budget may pay for AlwaysHere.

What AlwaysHere is, in funding terms

AlwaysHere is assistive technology powered by AI. Federal law defines an assistive technology device as any item, piece of equipment, or product system, whether acquired commercially, modified, or customized, that is used to increase, maintain, or improve functional capabilities of individuals with disabilities. That definition comes from the Assistive Technology Act, 29 U.S.C. § 3002.

AlwaysHere maps to it directly: it increases and maintains functional capability in daily routines, communication, memory, and safety.

Assistive technology is not a medical device. Whether AlwaysHere is covered is decided by your program and your case manager, and some programs ask for an evaluation by an occupational therapist, speech-language pathologist, or assistive technology professional. We will prepare the documentation either way.

What this may mean for cost

If your loved one already has a Medicaid waiver or self-directed budget, it may be able to pay for AlwaysHere. Families also use ABLE accounts, special needs trusts, HSA or FSA accounts, and caregiver programs. On your call we will help you sort out what fits and prepare the recommendation letter your case manager needs. Depending on the state, a waiver plan may cover it as assistive technology, enabling technology, or individual-directed goods and services.

Eligibility is decided by your program and your case manager, not by us. We prepare the paperwork either way.

    How waivers pay

AlwaysHere may fit inside an approved plan as assistive technology, enabling technology, or an individual-directed service. The exact category depends on your state, waiver, case manager, and person-centered plan.

Most waivers have waitlists, and coverage is decided by your program. If your loved one is not on a waiver yet, see other ways to pay.

    The letter

Ask on your free 15 minute call. We will give you a plain-language recommendation letter describing what AlwaysHere does, how it helps the person's goals, and why the requested plan is appropriate.

    FAQ

    Questions about plans

What happens if it is not right for us?

30-day money-back guarantee. Cancel any time.

What happens after I sign up?

Once you start, we book a 45 minute setup call. You, us, and your loved one. We learn their routine and what calms them, they meet the companion and choose what to call it, and it makes its first call while we are all on the line. This is included, and it is why families stay.

Do we need a new phone or device?

No. It works on the landline, flip phone, or smartphone they already have. There is nothing to install.

What is the difference between the plans?

Calm Home gives you 8 hours of voice a month. Complete gives you 16 hours plus live video help, practice, every Guardian variant, and setup and support directly from the founder.

    Is Guardian included?

Coming soon. Included with the Complete plan, or on its own as the Guardian Suite for $47 a month.

Do you have a text-only option?

Text-only support is available on request for families who need it.
